Sort Colors
Gather objects such a crayons, blocks, refrigerator magnets, or the contents of the junk drawer. Create a color sort activity where the child can sort all the objects by color. Have color placemats made from construction paper or newspaper, and have the child write a color label on each pile (red, yellow, blue), then place the objects in the right pile.
