Search the news or social media for a few great examples of people helping others in this difficult time. Watch or read the materials with the child, and talk about what you learned. Why did someone choose to help? What did it mean to the person who received help? Talk about the ways that you could help others right now, like donations of money, food, or goods to a charity, or by helping an at-risk neighbor with chores they can't do on their own.
