Provide the child with art supplies to create a self portrait on a sheet of paper. On an accompanying piece of paper, have the child write an answer to the question, "How are you a good friend to others?" If needed, brainstorm together to make a list of rich vocabulary words that describe a good friend (for example, generous, patient, hilarious).
