Choose an action poem or rhyme, such as “Going On a Bear Hunt” or "Row, Row, Row Your Boat." Invite the child to act out each of the verses with different motions. Then, encourage them to make up other destinations that fit the rhyme, such as “Going On a Boat Ride,” and corresponding verses and motions.
