Make an Autobiography Mosaic
All at once or slowly over time, have the child create a paper "mosaic" that portrays the child's qualities. Use pre-cut squares of colored construction paper in a variety of colors. Have the child draw and label one picture per square: self-portraits, favorite activities, favorite things, pets, friends, sports, and so on. When finished, glue all of the paper squares together at the edges or glue them down to a larger piece of paper or a mural on the wall.
