Trying and Learning

Create a two-column chart. Label the first column, “Places We’ve Been.” Label the second column, “Things We’ve Learned.” Invite the child to share their experiences trying something new, like camping or visiting a park in a different neighborhood, or traveling to a new place, such as a relative’s house or on a vacation. Then have them share something they learned from the experience or journey. Have the child draw a picture to go with their trip or experience and write a sentence about what they learned.
