Write About Friendship

Have the student fold a piece of blank paper in half. On one side, have them list all of the ways they are similar to one of their friends. On the other side, have them list all of the ways they are different. Have the student share their similarities and differences and talk about how these affect their friendships. Ask, “How do these differences make your friendship better?” Invite the student to write a poem that captures the differences and similarities in their friendships.
