Develop a Talent or Skill
Everyone has something that they enjoy doing or that they are good at. In order to help the student identify and develop their unique skills or talents, invite them to choose a skill that they want to improve upon. The student might choose a skill that they have already practiced or something they’ve never tried before. Encourage the student to choose something that they are passionate about. For the student who doesn’t know what to choose, with them about their talents or skills to help the brainstorming along. The student can keep a journal tracking their progress for a month.
