Create a Mural
Discuss some of the ways, large and small, that family members might show they care for each other. Invite the student to offer suggestions from their own experience (for example, helping with chores, listening or offering a hug when someone is sad, making a special meal or treat, giving gifts, spending time together). On a large piece of paper, with markers and paints, have the student create a mural of illustrations that show some of the different ways families show they care for each other.
