meli-3

Meli is so excited that you have been writing to her! She loves reading each and every letter – you ask some really great questions!

Read Meli's answers to students from Laguna Hills, California!

Q: Dear Meli, Why do you spill your water? And I love your books and I love your toothpaste because it tastes like chicken and why do you like to play with big dogs? Do you play with little dogs? ~Elena

A: Hi Elena! I loved your letter! Sometimes I'm a bit messy when I drink from my dog bowl. It can be tricky not to spill! I love playing with all kinds of dogs! I always make new friends when I visit the dog park! Keep reading! Woof! Meli

Q: Dear Meli, I like reading about you. Do you like soccer? What do you like to play? ~Dakaria

A: Hi Dakaria! I'm so happy you like my books! You have a really cool name, I hope I spelled it right! I like to play with my red ball, or run up and down the stairs. It's so much fun! Keep reading! Woof! Meli

Q: Dear Meli, I like your book and we just finished reading your book and my first question is why do you spill your water? And my second question is why do you like playing with the big dogs and little dogs. And my last question is what do you like to play? ~Vanessa

A: Hi Vanessa! Thank you so much for the letter! I made me really happy! When I go to the dog park, I like to run and play with all the dogs there! I always make new friends! When I'm really thirsty I drink my water too fast so it spills. Drinking out of a dog bowl can be tricky! Keep reading! Woof! Meli

Q: Dear Meli, We just read books about you. Do you like hockey? I have dogs and they like to watch hockey. What is your favorite team in hockey? ~Avery

A: Hi Avery! Your letter made me really happy! I don't know much about hockey, I like to watch TV shows with lots of dogs in them! It sounds like fun though! What is your favorite team? Keep reading! Woof! Meli
