Make Paper Bag Houses

Gather art materials including paper lunch bags, markers, crayons, or paints, scissors, glue sticks, and other miscellaneous art materials. Invite the child to draw the home they live in on the bag as a three-dimensional structure, including doors and windows and other features. Have them stuff the bags with crumpled newspaper and then staple the bags shut. Use popsicle sticks, pipe cleaners, and other craft materials to make the people and pets who live in their home with them.
