Make a Friendship Wreath

Feel close even if we can't be together with a friendship wreath. Use construction paper to create five cutouts of the child's hand, or cover the hand in paint and have the child stamp their hand on five blank pieces of paper. Have the child write their name on the finished hand cutouts. Send the cutouts to four friends as a scanned email attachment or through the mail. Ask those friends to send cutouts to each other and back to you, too. Draw a 7" diameter circle on a sturdy piece of cardboard. When you have collected all five handprints, work with the child to glue them onto the cardboard, creating a friendship wreath.
