Sharing Experiences
Talk with the child about meeting new people. What are their experiences when they have met someone for the first time, or made a new friend? One of the best things about meeting someone new is learning about something different that person has experienced, or learning about a skill that person has. Ask the child to write down a list of experiences, skills, talents, and interests that they can share when they make a new friend. Bonus: draw pictures to go along with the words on the list.
