Take a Research Journey
Using books, magazines, and Internet resources, collect information on other places and cultures. Explore the materials with the child. Discuss some of the similarities and differences that the child noticed about different places. Although the child has not traveled to these places, they now know things about them. Ask: “How do books help us travel to new places?”
