Create a Job Board and Talk About Chores

Create a Job Board and Talk About Chores

Discuss chores with the child: what they are, and why they need to be done. Instruct the child to write a list of chores. Cut out each word and pin it to a bulletin board, or use sentence strips and place them in a pocket chart. Each day, the child can pick one of the chores off of the board and complete it with your supervision. Talk about how the activities that the child does each day help to make their space a special place.
