Sing a New Song

Sing a New Song

Remind the child of a familiar song that requires an accompanying dance or movements, such as “Wheels on the Bus” or “Shake Your Sillies Out.” Ask the child to create new lyrics, adding additional words and phrases for the songs or substitute new words and phrases, then introducing a new movement or action to go with the new words or phrases.
