Make a Friendship Card

Make a Friendship Card

Discuss friendship with the child, thinking about ways that they show they care about or support their friends. Discuss how it is important to let your friends know that you appreciate them, and it’s also important to recognize special qualities in new friends. Have the child pick a friend, and then create a greeting card to mail to that friend. Use paper and art supplies to decorate the card, and inside the card complete the sentence, “I like ____ because ____ .”
