Create an Action Plan for a Goal

Create an Action Plan for a Goal

Invite the child to discuss their dreams and goals. The goals can be large or small, ranging from routine goals to lifelong dreams. Give the child positive, constructive feedback, and talk about the specific actions and tasks they might take to make a goal a reality. After discussion, have the child write an action plan outlining the steps that they need to take to achieve what they want. At the top of the plan, have them write a few sentences about why the goal is important to them, and how and why they will practice perseverance in achieving this goal.
