Make an Insect List

Make an Insect List

Brainstorm lists of at least three insects that the child knows. Have the child write down their names, as well as a list of traits, like color, sizes, anatomy, habitats, etc. When the list is complete, discuss how insects are similar to each other and how they are different. Bonus: practice using a Venn diagram to identify overlapping common traits between insects.
